React Solutions Architect (Atlanta Based)

We're looking for a seasoned React Solutions Architect to support one of our top clients in Atlanta.  Our execution success is rooted in our unique model that is supported by our industry partners and specialists.  The ImagineX culture thrives on entrepreneurship, risk taking, mutual trust, teamwork, encouraging change, and letting our consultants own their way of working. 
This 6+ month contract position (with the potential to convert to full-time) and requires in office Monday-Friday (Sandy Springs/Perimeter Mall area).
 

Duties:

• Architectural Strategy & Technical Roadmap: Define the long-term technical vision for the React ecosystem, ensuring alignment between business goals and scalable front-end infrastructure.

• Enterprise-Scale Component Governance: Oversee the architectural design of a unified, multi-tenant UI library, prioritizing modularity and design system consistency across disparate product lines.

• State Management & Data Flow Orchestration: Architect complex data-flow patterns and state management strategies (e.g., Redux, Middleware, or Server State) to optimize performance across large-scale distributed applications.

• Performance Engineering & Optimization: Lead deep-dive audits of application vitals, implementing advanced rendering patterns (SSR/SSG, Code Splitting) to minimize Time to Interactive (TTI) and optimize the critical rendering path.

• Technical Leadership & Cross-Team Synergy: Serve as the primary technical consultant for product managers and stakeholders, bridging the gap between high-level requirements and technical implementation while mentoring senior staff on architectural best practices.

Required:

• Strategic Experience: 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead or architectural capacity overseeing large-scale frontend ecosystems.

• Architectural Mastery: Expert-level command of React, TypeScript, and Redux, with a proven track record of designing scalable state management patterns and component-driven architectures.

• Systems Design: Extensive experience in building and maintaining Enterprise Design Systems or unified UI layers that support multiple high-traffic applications.

• Performance & Testing Strategy: Deep expertise in defining testing standards (Jest/RTL) and implementing performance-first strategies, including advanced rendering patterns and optimization of the critical rendering path.

• Full-Stack Context: Strong proficiency in architecting the interface between front-end layers and RESTful/GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless data orchestration and security.

• DevOps & Tooling Integration: Advanced familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, Docker orchestration, and Git workflows to streamline the developer experience (DX).

• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional ability to translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints and collaborate with stakeholders to drive architectural decisions.

• Location: Must be comfortable working on-site in Sandy Springs, GA, Monday–Friday.
