The RoleWe’re looking for an experienced React Native Mobile Developer to design, build, test and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android. You’ll work closely with product owners, business analysts, UI/UX designers, backend developers and QA engineers to deliver secure, scalable and user-friendly mobile experiences.
What You’ll Do- Design, develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native for iOS and Android.
- Build reusable components and scalable mobile app architectures.
- Turn UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive, polished mobile interfaces.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services and third-party SDKs.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, session management and data storage.
- Improve app performance, responsiveness and memory usage.
- Troubleshoot and fix defects across iOS and Android.
- Implement push notifications, deep linking and device-specific features.
- Work with QA on unit testing, integration testing and fixing defects found in UAT.
- Manage app builds, signing and releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards and security best practices.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of mobile app development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on React Native.
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- A solid grasp of React concepts: hooks, state management and component lifecycle.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand or Context API.
- Strong experience integrating REST APIs, JSON and asynchronous operations.
- Familiarity with native iOS and Android development concepts.
- Experience with native modules and third-party SDK integration.
- Knowledge of mobile app security, secure storage and authentication.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and mobile build tools.
- An understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging.
- A track record of publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with both React Native CLI and Expo.
- Familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with Firebase services, analytics and push notifications.
- Knowledge of biometric authentication, device security and certificate pinning.
- Experience in banking, fintech or other regulated industries.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox or Appium.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and Jira.
- Reliable, high-performance mobile apps on both iOS and Android.
