Job Description:
Senior/Mid-Level React Native Developer to join our dynamic team. As a developer in this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. You should be passionate about mobile development, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile technologies, and comfortable in a fast-paced agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to create a seamless user experience.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices for mobile development.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Implement and manage third-party libraries, APIs, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with applications as they arise.
- Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Participate in all aspects of software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, and release planning.
- Stay updated on new features and capabilities in React Native and mobile development technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-4+ years of professional experience in React Native development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript.
- Experience in integrating native modules with React Native.
- Knowledge of iOS/Android SDKs, debugging tools, and performance optimization.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Recoil.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to backend services.
- Hands-on experience with push notifications, Firebase, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Git, Bitrise, CircleCI.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, etc.) for unit and integration testing.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and take ownership of tasks and features.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning of mobile apps.
- Bachelor in Software Engineering / Computer Science
