· Implement pixel-perfect user interfaces that match designs.
· Diagnose and repair bugs and performance bottlenecks for native-like performance.
· Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and assist in implementing mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves quickly and frequently breaks things.
· Participate in sprint retrospectives, daily standups, and two-week sprints.
· Utilize new, contemporary, smooth animations and transitions to provide a great user experience.
· Plan the data and presentation layers of the application's front end.
· Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
· Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
· Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
· Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
· Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
· Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
· Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications using clean code.
· Use additional JavaScript libraries, such as Redux, to make asynchronous API calls and enhance website loading speed.
· Be a part of a React Native developer community that shares knowledge and assists one another when problems arise.
Skills Required
- Strong development and fundamental knowledge of React Native.
- Hands-on experience with Android and iOS application development.
- Familiarity with mobile application architecture and planning data/presentation layers.
- Strong understanding of software design and implementation.
- Proficient in JavaScript and ES6 standards.
- Experience implementing pixel-perfect, performant UIs and smooth animations.
- Ability to diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Experience leveraging native APIs for deep platform integrations.
- Experience with Redux or similar libraries for asynchronous API calls and state management.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for mobile applications.
- Experience migrating or transitioning React web applications to React Native.
- Participation in agile processes (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Willingness to engage with the open-source community to address React Native issues.
