Our challenge

We are seeking a talented and experienced React Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in front-end development, with strong expertise in JavaScript and React. Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces that deliver a seamless user experience.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $115k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain highly responsive and scalable web applications using JavaScript and React.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes and prototypes into functional user interfaces.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues and bugs.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of web applications.
  • Participate in planning, estimation, and agile development processes.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in front-end development.
  • Proven expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and React.js.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Good understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with UI testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library.
  • Knowledge of back-end technologies and basic understanding of databases.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
