The position
As our new Test Engineer, you will be working in collaboration with the project teams to use your interpersonal skills to challenge the status quo while focusing on solutions and opportunities. Further, you will engage in and contribute to a continuous high professional passion and engagement within the test engineering team.
Your main responsibilities will be focused on:

  • Designing verification activities, test protocols, and reports. You will be leading the device development project test activities covering explorative testing, design verification, and shelf-life tests between the project teams, testers, and external partners
  • Contributing with knowledge of the design verification processes, help to define and manage requirements, plan, and report on verification activities, and help to mitigate project risks
  • Participating in the ongoing efforts to further develop our methodology within test methods, test procedures, and training


Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:

  • An academic degree in Engineering (e.g. mechanical, biomedical) or any other related field
  • Experience working with data, planning, and reporting
  • Work experience in medical device development and/or design control processes for medical devices is advantageous
  • Knowledge of test standards, equipment, and/or method validations, as well as familiarity with navigating in a GMP-regulated environment, is also advantageous
  • Professional proficiency in English

About the department
DDS consists of more than 300 colleagues who work dedicated to designing and developing innovative medical devices and digital therapeutic solutions for our patients. In Experiments & Design Verification, we are responsible for explorative testing, development of test methods, and design verification testing of injection devices and new connected and innovative solutions for drug delivery. Our work is a key part of the device development process, we collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and we strive for excellence in everything we do.
