Are you a smart, driven student ready to tackle the fascinating challenges of the power industry? AECI’s Thomas Hill Power Plant is seeking an exceptional candidate for a Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Engineering internship for the summer of 2026.
What You'll Do:
- Assist Reliability and Predictive Maintenance Engineers in various engineering tasks focused on increasing the reliability of our coal and gas plant fleet.
- Participate in projects that may require overnight or extended stays at our plant sites in MO, OK, AR
- Support the design and implementation of reliability improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering challenges.
- Gather and analyze data to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Who We're Looking For:
- Current students enrolled in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical preferred) with at least two years completed toward a Bachelor of Science degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Experience with engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) is a plus.
- A proactive attitude with a strong interest in the power production industry.
