The RCCA and Quality Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting quality improvement efforts, with a focus on effective Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). This role ensures product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate RCCA investigations for internal issues.
- Apply Human Factor Analysis and Classification system (HFACS) to identify human contribution to quality,
- Use problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, DMAIC, etc.) to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Maintenance) to develop, validate, and monitor corrective/preventive actions.
- Track and manage PQM (PIC Quality Management) documentation and ensure timely closure.
- Conduct quality audits (internal) and support external audits
- Analyze quality metrics (scrap, rework, etc.) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain quality documentation in compliance with ISO
- Train staff in quality processes and root cause methodology as needed.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
Strong understanding of root cause analysis tools and techniques.
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication, facilitation, and report-writing abilities.
Proficient in MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing with a focus on RCCA and CAPA processes.
