Job Title: Rapid Continuous Improvement Tech 

Base: Buffalo, NY

Reporting to: NA Operations Manager

Pay: $28.85- $38.46 /hr.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Travel: As Required

Job Description:

The Rapid Continuous Improvement Tech (RCI Tech) supports operational excellence across Kee Safety North America. This role partners closely with the NA Operations Manager to analyze business performance, identify improvement opportunities, develop reporting, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse, customer service, engineering, and purchasing functions.

Job Duties:

1. Design and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reports.

2. Develop metrics that support data-driven decision making.

3. Provide actionable reporting to the NA Operations Manager.

4. Monitor business performance trends and identify issues proactively.

5. Apply Lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve processes.

6. Lead rapid improvement events and process reviews.

7. Document current-state and future-state processes and drive implementation.

8. Manage and track continuous improvement initiatives.

9. Investigate operational issues and perform root cause analysis.

10. Learn and support operational systems, tools, and workflows.

11. Support troubleshooting and resolution of operational challenges.

12. Serve as a key support resource to the NA Operations Manager.

13. Build cross-functional relationships and support collaboration.

14. Represent operations in project teams and business initiatives.

15. Provide operational insights to support business growth.

Education and Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in operations, continuous improvement, or technical analysis.

• Working knowledge of Lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and root cause analysis.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills with Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technologies.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.

• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.

• Exposure to ERP or WMS platforms preferred.

Special/Particular Requirements (safety, physical, etc)

The employee may occasionally be required to work within warehouse or operational environments and must comply with all applicable safety requirements, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment where required.
