This core role will be working as a Rail Replacement Coordinator across the UK network, during times of disruption and pre-planned work. We also have some requirements to assist our special events team.
We expect you to be customer focused in everything you do, so that we provide a fantastic experience for people travelling with us. Even when things may not be running so smoothly, you will need to ensure customers are kept informed throughout their journey.
You will be trained to carry out all aspects of the role including managing different situations during times of disruption, ensuring buses and trains run on time, making announcements, carrying out appropriate safety duties, and assisting with customer service. You’ll receive training to ensure you have all the knowledge and skills you need to help ensure our services run smoothly and safely.
About you:
This is a part time role with flexible hours, and as such there is no guarantee that any minimum hours will be offered.
You’ll be flexible in working location and happy to travel (travel costs will be covered). Our services operate seven days a week, covering a range of different hours – early morning and right into the night. There will be a requirement to be flexible at short notice, due to working requirements.

Training will be provided on the specific requirements of the role, but an understanding of bus and train timetables and drivers' hours regulations would be of benefit.
