At Parsons, we’re redefining how people move through cities and communities. As a global leader in rail and transit solutions, we partner with our clients to deliver complex, high-impact transportation programs that make transit safer, smarter, more reliable, and more efficient.
We bring together deep systems engineering expertise, digital innovation, and multidisciplinary delivery to solve some of the toughest challenges in modern mobility. From early planning through commissioning and operational readiness, our teams help bring transformational transit systems to life.
If you’re a senior systems engineering leader who thrives on solving complex problems, leading high-performing teams, and delivering next-generation rail and transit solutions, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

- Collaborating with internal disciplines and external stakeholders, including architects, code consultants, contractors, authorities having jurisdiction, and major suppliers
- Supporting construction, installation, and field coordination activities
- Engaging with Operations and Maintenance teams to help ensure long-term operational success
- Contributing to test and commissioning activities and supporting systems through readiness and start-up
- Assisting with customer training and development of Operations & Maintenance manuals
What You Bring
You are a collaborative and technically accomplished systems engineering leader who knows how to navigate complexity, align stakeholders, and keep delivery moving.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing systems engineering delivery
- Strong experience in the design and/or integration of communications systems and train control systems for transit facilities and vehicles
- A solid track record of developing technical requirements and specifications

- Strong communication skills and confidence working with technical teams, senior leadership, clients, partners, and suppliers
- The ability to lead technical conversations, influence decisions, and represent the systems engineering function with credibility
- A hands-on, adaptable approach and comfort working across office, project, and field environments
