Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital seeks a Radiology Technologist for their Radiology department responsible for operating radiographic and other related equipment and assists physicians as necessary to complete diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages. Coordinates patient flow and responsible for producing quality images efficiently and safely.
QUALIFICATIONS:
All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.
Education:
- Minimum: Graduate from an accredited radiologic technologist program.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Minimum: Valid California Radiologic Technologist certification. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS). Valid California Fluoroscopy certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred: ARRT registered.
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum: Ability to use specialized radiology and other health care equipment.
Years of Related Work Experience:
- Minimum: New graduate from a radiologic technology school.
- Preferred: 2 years performing radiographic exams in a hospital environment similar to Cottage Hospital.
