Radiology Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.

- Operate radiology equipment such as X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound machines to capture diagnostic images.

- Ensure the proper positioning of patients to obtain clear and accurate images.

- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.

- Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.

- Review and process images for quality and clarity before submitting them for interpretation.

- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging logs.

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).

- Proven experience in operating various radiology imaging equipment.

- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety procedures.

- Excellent communication and patient care skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
