The Radiologist will interpret CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound images, perform biopsies and injections, and provide feedback on imaging quality. This position requires California MD licensing and teamwork to improve patient care.

We are looking for a Radiologist experienced in reading CT, Xray, Ultrasound, and performing basic procedures like hip injections, arthrograms, barium studies, etc. MRI reading is optional. This individual would come on site, here in Mammoth Lakes, California, on an occasional schedule to cover a couple of days to a week at a time. Several times a year.
What you'll do:
- Read Emergency Department and Routine / Clinic CTs, X-rays, Ultrasounds, and Fluoro studies.
- Able to perform ultrasound guided thyroid biopsies, injections, arthrograms, etc.
- Will give technologists direction on additional views needed, feedback on positioning and image quality.
- Protocol CT and other studies. Answer physician questions on recommendations.
- Hospital covers Malpractice insurance
- Teleradiology coverage from 9pm-7am.
