Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Consult with customers to define needs or problem areas, and determines scope of investigation required to recommend possible solutions Gather and analyze data to determine solutions for system processing according to the customer’s business requirements Develop and maintain business requirements using Use cases, storyboards and/or Word documents Provide input into task estimation and scheduling Create and maintain the RADIENCE business model Write, execute, quantify and qualify test conditions for more complex modeling changes which will have widespread effects Work within RADIENCE implementation methodology and follow applicable standards Stay abreast of new developments in fields of insurance and wealth management by visiting websites and reading periodicals devoted to these topics
Qualifications:
Strong technical background Minimum 1 year experience with XML Minimum 3 years of experience with HTML and GUI design Minimum 3 years of experience with business data modeling and process modeling using UML or XDE Minimum 3 years of experience writing and executing test plans Demonstrates a strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex application issues. Possesses a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills for precise problem-solving. Self-motivated and analytical, with a proven track record of effective problem-solving. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Working knowledge of relational database access, such as SQL. Experience working with applications in the insurance or wealth management industry. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work under high pressure and long hours with a persistent attitude. Demonstrates an open mind and a willingness to learn new skills and approaches. Consistently strives to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
