Job Summary -
Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
Regulatory Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Certified by the State of Ohio to practice and administer radiation.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
Skills
- Basic computer knowledge. Prior knowledge of Meditech is preferred.
