The Role

Family Description
Finance (FI) comprises all finance and control activities, external and internal reporting, and capital allocation processes. Provides services in the area of financial planning, accounting, controlling, reporting, performance management, tax, investor relations, treasury, and mergers and acquisitions.
Subfamily Description
Global Accounting comprises global end-to-end accounting processes with high quality, timeliness, and continuous efficiency improvement. Covers processing of accounting transactions to ensure accurate reporting in accordance to Nokia's accounting and reporting principles and statutory regulations.
 

Responsibilities
  • Collects, consolidates and inputs financial information in appropriate tools analysis in accordance with requirements and defined targets in own area.
  • Ensure accuracy of general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to management
  • Proactively performs preventative quality controls and takes corrective actions when errors occur. 
  • Provides complex analysis and reports to support decisions making. 
  • Contributes to ensuring compliance with Nokia accounting principles, internal controls policies and reporting procedures, as well as external rules and regulations. 
  • Cooperates actively with internal / external stakeholders to ensure proper and timely resolution of problems.
  • Guide and review work of colleagues
  • Identify and implement accounting process improvements
  • Lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements.
  • Support ERP/accounting system enhancements or migrations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 8+ years of accounting experience in record to report
  • 3+ years of Team Leading experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Transformation mindset, ability to understand and improve your own and team's processes 
  • Hands on experience in SAP
  • Blackline working experience is an advantage
