What we are looking for:-
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive R2R candidate (Record to Report) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate flexibility in handling diverse responsibilities. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare and post Journal Entries, monthly reconciliations, and General Ledger adjustments accurately and on time.
- Handle Accounting operations for both managed properties and corporate-level entities.
- Execute Month-End Closing activities including accrual entries and other key adjustments.
- Process Invoices, ensure precise data entry, and maintain well-organized accounting records.
- Prepare, review, and analyze Monthly Financial Statements for assigned properties.
- Track and process Utility Payments ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Perform Bank, Debtor, and Vendor Reconciliations to maintain clean and accurate accounts.
- Address queries from residents, clients, and property managers regarding financial statements or ledgers.
- Support management with special projects and ad hoc financial reporting.
- Conduct research and analysis on accounting discrepancies and provide actionable insights.
Requirements:
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 💡 Strong knowledge of advanced accounting principles and general ledger processes.
- 📊 Advanced Excel proficiency with the ability to manage and analyze large data sets.
- 🗣️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact confidently with US clients over calls.
- 📋 Highly organized, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- ⚡ Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
You must have:
- 🕒 Willingness to work in Pacific Time (PST) shifts.
- 💼 1–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance required.
- 🗣️ Strong verbal and written communication skills with clarity and professionalism.
- 💻 Hands-on experience with Yardi, AppFolio, or QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
