R0123-Compliance Engineer(Safty/Environment)

Responsibilities

- Ownership of worldwide regulatory Compliance certifications for Ubiquiti products.

- Set out strategies for optimizing Compliance testing in a fast moving development   environment.

- Keep track of ongoing changes in worldwide Safety, Energy Consumption, and Environmental Compliance matters.

- Involvement in the design for Compliance in the early product design phases.

- Work with third parties to coordinate Safety and Energy Consumption testing using test Labs in Taiwan, China, and USA

- Maintain Environmental databases internally and officially

- Compile and archive all certification documentation.

- Analyze data and prepare reports.

Must-haves:

- 3-5 years as a Compliance engineer in a company environment.

- Willingness to travel to test labs in Taiwan and if needed USA / China

- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

- Self-Management Skills and work independently for tasks.

- Experience with environmental related such as RoHS, REACH (SCIP), CP65, WEEE, TSCA, Conflict Mineral, POP, HF, GPMS, FMD

- Experience with energy consumption such as CEC, DoE and NRCan for lamp, signage display, ErP for lighting and signage display, GEMS for lamp/lighting

- Ability to set up and run systems for safety and energy consumption testing.

- Experience with Safety such as I.T.E, plug/socket outlet, Home appliance, Lighting LED..etc..

- Experience working with third parties to accomplish outsourced work.

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with the International Type Approval processes and certifications.

- Experience with Safety such as IoT, Electrical panel, EV charger, Solar system..etc.

- Experience with component certifications such as POE injector, adaptor, cable..etc..
