About the roleThe role will be around designing and benchmarking new protocols for quantum error correction across a distributed quantum architecture. Successful candidates will work in a collaborative team of theorists and programmers, with support from theoretical and experimental physicists.
Responsibilities - What You'll be doing- Developing new protocols for distributed quantum error correction.
- Benchmarking protocols and designs through numerical simulations.
- Developing code as part of a team.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Representing the company externally through publications, patents, and conferences.
RequirementsYour skills, qualifications and experience
Essential
- PhD in quantum computing or related area, or equivalent industry experience.
- Track record of high-quality publications.
- Ability to work in a team and with other cross-functional teams.
- Experience with programming in Python.
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
Desirable (nice to have, but not required)
- Research experience in quantum error correction.
- Experience with quantum programming languages such as Qiskit and Cirq.
- Experience in classical or quantum networks.
