Responsibilities
- Research high to mid frequency alphas
- Explore trading ideas by analyzing market data, market microstructure and alternate data for market patterns
- Create tools to analyze data for patterns and contribute to customized simulators development
- Generate trading models with statistical / machine learning tools
- Implement and deploy trading algorithms, monitor portfolio risk, and maintain daily trading production
Qualifications
- Requires a PhD in Mathematics, Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering or related field of study
- Requires experience or coursework with each of the following:
- Computational mathematics
- Probability and statistics
- Python and C++ programming
- Machine Learning
- Time series analysis
- Reinforcement learning and optimization
- Ability to handle large datasets
- Derivatives pricing theories and their implementations
- and Risk modeling, with knowledge in distribution estimation
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
