About The Team
We are a large equity market neutral Quant PM group within ExodusPoint Capital based in London. The senior members of the team have worked as colleagues, together for over many years at several top tier hedge funds and have a wealth of experience and a strong track record. Over the last two years, we have built a cloud-based state-of-the-art systematic platform including the ability to process real-time market data and build signals at various timescales. The system is now live for more than a year with a large capital allocation from the firm. We are very collaborative team who work closely on all aspects of systematic trading including alpha research, signal combination and portfolio optimization.
6-Month Internship
Successful interns will have the opportunity to work on several small projects spanning many aspects of a systematic trading platform; this can include the implementation of new trading strategies, exploratory research into alternative datasets and pipeline optimization. Interns are expected to have strong programming skills (preferably Python) and a good knowledge of mathematics/statistics.
Requirements:
- 6-month Internship
- Academic Background: Preferably a current PhD student (or recently graduated) OR higher education (i.e. Masters or Graduate programs)
- STEM degree: Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.
- Strong programming skills (preferably Python)
- Good knowledge of mathematics/statistics
Start date is flexible, but preference is for immediately available candidates.
