The role

We are looking for a quantitative-minded professional (f/m/x) to join our product team and take ownership of the calculations that power the CEPRES platform. This is a role with real breadth: you will spend your early months building a solid foundation by completing the documentation of the existing calculation library before moving into the more dynamic side of the job, which involves scoping and prototyping new calculations in close collaboration with product, engineering, and clients.

The role has a clear growth trajectory. As the calculations library matures and client demand grows, you will take on a product ownership function, becoming the go-to person for everything related to CEPRES calculations. In time, you will manage a dedicated development team that implements bespoke calculation work for clients. If bandwidth allows, you will also contribute to our Predictive project — a multi-asset forecasting initiative that sits at the frontier of private markets analytics.

In this role, you will:

  • Documentation (near-term priority): Audit and document all existing run-time calculations on the CEPRES platform. Establish clear, consistent documentation standards so that every current and future calculation is fully described, reproducible, and auditable.
  • New calculation development: Work with the product team to scope, define, and prototype new calculations. Translate business and client requirements into precise mathematical specifications ready for engineering implementation.
  • Client-facing collaboration: Act as a technical point of contact for client queries related to calculations. Explain complex quantitative concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Predictive project contribution: When the documentation backlog is clear and no new calculations requests are pending, contribute to the multi-asset forecasting (Predictive) work stream.
  • Team leadership (future state): As the role grows, build and manage a small development team responsible for delivering calculation implementations for clients.
