Responsibilities:
Supports the design and development of investment model code in production environment to convert investment research into quantitative models.
Creates and maintains quantitative code libraries and model analytics.
Reviews and reconciles peer code changes with statistical certainty.
Conceptualizes, codes, and builds new quantitative analytics based on knowledge of financial markets, securities, investment themes and new technologies.
Builds effective working relationships to anticipate the needs of analysts and/or portfolio managers.
Participates in research projects and integrates innovative technologies into investment processes.
Qualifications:
Two years in the Financial Services industry. Investment management experience preferred. Experience in statistical analyses and related statistical tools.
Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
Strong programming skills required (python)
Equity investing competency (markets, active vs passive etc.)
