Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Software Developer in C++ to join one of our trading teams in Paris. The Software Developer will work directly with Quants and Traders to implement cutting-edge, low-latency C++ code for various strategies and components of the team’s high-frequency, high-throughput production trading and research system.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing a low latency high-frequency trading platform, which includes collecting quotes and trades from and disseminating orders to exchanges around the world
- Assisting in the development of a tick by tick backtesting research platform
- Developing systems, interfaces and tools to historical market data and trading simulations that increase research productivity
Qualifications
- Willingness to contribute in team work, share knowledge and brainstorm ideas;
- Passion for innovation and software architecture;
- Working experience in C++, system development and Linux environments (at least 1-2 years);
- Significant knowledge in data structures, algorithms;
- Good experience with other programming languages such as Java and Python
- Strong communication skills in English for business purposes
