The Data & Automation Services team within the Testing Center of Excellence Organization is seeking a strategic, analytical professional to leverage AI/ML for risk reduction and efficiency, providing senior management with data-driven insights and managing complex projects to achieve strategic objectives. As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate on the Data & Automation Services Team, you will be leveraging advanced AI/ML techniques, LLMs, and analytics to drive risk reduction and operational efficiency. You will independently engage with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and manage complex projects from inception to completion, delivering strategic data-driven solutions that align with business objectives. In this role you should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives that inform decision-making across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Engaging with stakeholders and developing business requirements
- Leverage AI/ML techniques and analytics to develop solutions that drive risk reduction and operational efficiency.
- Manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, technology, and data management, to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in AI/ML and analytics to continuously improve processes and solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices in data management and governance.
- Documenting developed AI/ML models to stakeholders
- Provide senior management with strategic insights and data-driven narratives to support major initiatives and inform decision-making.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative or related field.
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in risk management, compliance, or controls.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on LLM, machine learning, Python, and data management tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Extensive hands-on experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs) for advanced text analysis and automation.
- Expertise in data wrangling and workflow automation tools like Alteryx.
- Strong SQL skills for complex data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects independently, from requirement gathering to solution implementation and delivery.
- Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and ambiguity, and proven ability to structure problems and develop analytical frameworks while addressing business and technical risks.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage and deliver in an innovation-driven and fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create insightful dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake for scalable data storage and processing.
