Job Responsibilities:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:• Mechanical aptitude, critical/rational thinking, and problem-solving skills.• Prepare, read, and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures, and guidelines.• Manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimum direct supervision.• Calculate figures and amounts, such as percentages and proportions.
EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED:
Pneumatic, hydraulic, electric power and hand tools, gages, and software's as required.
KNOWLEDGE:• Knowledge of quality / welding / manufacturing principles• Demonstrate an understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction.
EDUCATION:• High School Diploma or GED.• Above average computer skills.• Must have experience with GMAW and RSW applications.• Must receive and maintain Level I NDT certification in UT.• Must have experience using standard measurement, inspection, and testing equipment in the inspection of sheet metal parts and assemblies.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Relevant manufacturing and automotive experience is preferred.
