Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Systems and Training Support Specialist (1st Shift) for our Amesbury, MA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Support the implementation and ongoing data management for select database systems including but not limited to the:
    • CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) used to schedule and record equipment maintenance and repair activities.
    • LMS (learning management system) used to define job skill and training requirements as well as schedule training classes and retain employee training records including measures of training effectiveness.
    • DMS (document management system) used to manage the creation, revision, approval, release and access to controlled documents (such as procedures, work instructions, forms, specifications and drawings).
    • NCM (nonconforming material) and CAPA (corrective / preventative action) databases used to record occurrences of nonconforming material along with associated material dispositions, causes of the nonconformances and corrective / preventative actions taken to prevent recurrence.
    • Calibration database.
  • Coordinate training activities for employees with managers and supervisors including the development of new employee training plans, training guides, scheduling classes and training for new and revised documents.
  • Support records management for various document types such as production work orders, training records, inspection & test records and calibration records including activities such as scanning, labeling, sorting and filing.
  • Utilize existing databases and query tools to generate various reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Prepare CoC and CoA documents in accordance with requirements.
  • Supports plant safety and quality objectives.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office tools including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organized and detail oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of work. 
  • Affinity for data and document management with a mindset for thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Professional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision, while keeping management informed. 
  • Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to ensure commitments are met.

Complete salary range for this role: $56,980  to $97,680

This position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
