Quality SPC SpecialistRocky Mountain Twist (RMT) | Ronan, MT
Are you passionate about quality, data analysis, and continuous improvement? Rocky Mountain Twist is seeking a Quality SPC Specialist to support our manufacturing quality systems and help ensure our products consistently meet customer expectations and industry standards.
In this role, you will use Statistical Process Control (SPC), quality tools, and analytical skills to monitor manufacturing performance, investigate quality concerns, support inspection processes, and help drive continuous improvement across the organization.
What You'll DoAs a Quality SPC Specialist, you will:
- Monitor manufacturing processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
- Analyze process data and provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual quality reports to department managers.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to define and document product quality requirements.
- Support manufacturing cells with quality tools, guidance, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and improve inspection methods in partnership with Engineering.
- Manage quality documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Verify calibration status of measuring equipment and coordinate annual calibration activities.
- Investigate internal and supplier non-conformance issues and track corrective actions through resolution.
- Ensure incoming materials meet specifications and communicate quality concerns with suppliers and customers when necessary.
- Coordinate the purchase, maintenance, and repair of measuring and inspection equipment.
- Provide technical support during failure investigations, product testing, manufacturing inspections, and continuous improvement projects.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with quality systems, SPC, data analysis, or manufacturing quality control preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Experience with measuring equipment and calibration processes is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

QualificationsCompetencies
LANGUAGE SKILLS – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to multi-task. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers and common decimals and fractions. Use and understand various measuring equipment.
REASONING ABILITY - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Minimum Education/Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalency and a minimum of 3 years “hands on” experience. PC Based (Microsoft product) knowledge a requirement. Demonstrated track record of accomplishments as an Inspector or operator, especially in a QA related job is required. Consumer Product experience in high volume production atmosphere is required. Successful applicants will be asked to pass the RMT Inspection training course.
