As a Quality Project Manager, you will play a key role in a dynamic project team focused on implementing both proactive and reactive quality initiatives throughout the product development lifecycle for our Conventional Range. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective execution of quality processes, becoming the go-to expert for industry-standard quality tools and methodologies. This position encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery, while collaborating with diverse stakeholders and solution providers to support our Mack and Volvo Trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a cross-functional project team to ensure timely and successful completion of assigned projects.
Provide updates to Steering Committees and Councils on project status and milestones.
Oversee the project management team with a focus on business objectives and urgency.
Manage key project parameters—quality, delivery, cost, and features—ensuring alignment with established targets.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Mentor project team members to align efforts toward common objectives.
Educate and coach the entire department on proactive and reactive quality tools.
Contribute to the development of future project management practices within EEVC, emphasizing the end-user and customer perspective.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s Degree is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the transportation industry.
Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement initiatives.
Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage software content projects.
Strong leadership capabilities and effective communication skills.
Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies.
Functional safety certification is advantageous.
Knowledge of ASPICE or similar industry frameworks is preferred.

Salary Range: $75000-85000
