Position Overview:
Thea Energy is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to establish and scale our Quality Management System (QMS). Your efforts will directly contribute to the organization's success by ensuring that the complex systems we build meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. This role requires a speed & execution mindset coupled with attention to detail.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with relevant ISO standards
- Oversee supplier quality, incoming inspection and in process validation for critical hardware components
- Manage and develop company policies, programs, and procedures for non-conformance, corrective actions, and anomaly investigations
- Work with the Company’s leadership and technical teams to integrate quality checkpoints into the engineering design and manufacturing lifecycle
- Work with the technical teams to ensure proper quality measures are instituted for both hardware and software
- Lead internal audits and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams
Ideal Experience & Skillsets:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within aerospace, automotive, or energy sectors
- Past leadership positions and experience managing and growing Quality organizations
- Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, NQA-1 or other relevant quality standards
- OSHA 30hr Certification and a strong safety focus
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams to support quality challenges
- Strong ethics and discretion
Company Benefits:
- Salary range $85,000-$150,000

Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call.
- Ability to work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.
