Quality Manager
Northeast Residential Services (NRS) is looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to join our leadership team.
This position plays an important role in ensuring our residential and Shared Living programs provide high-quality, person-centered services while meeting MaineCare, OADS, HCBS, licensing, and agency requirements.
The Quality Manager will work closely with program leadership to monitor quality, conduct audits, identify areas for improvement, support staff training, and help programs remain prepared for licensing and regulatory reviews. This position will also help NRS prepare for Maine's evolving Lifespan Waiver and related changes to services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What You'll Do
- Oversee quality assurance and compliance across residential and Shared Living programs
- Conduct regular program visits, reviews, and compliance audits
- Review ISP documentation, progress notes, incident reports, medication records, and other required documentation
- Audit member records and electronic systems, including Therap and Evergreen
- Monitor compliance with MaineCare Section 21/29, OADS, HCBS, licensing requirements, and agency policies
- Identify compliance concerns and work with leadership to develop corrective action plans
- Help prepare programs for licensing reviews, Fire Marshal inspections, and other regulatory reviews
- Conduct and assist with agency investigations
- Develop and update policies and procedures
- Track corrective actions and follow up to ensure concerns are resolved
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers, staff, and Shared Living providers
- Responsible for submission of program hour authorizations (Atrezzo), and Maintenance Cases.
- Ability to complete Maine Care Billing.
- Support NRS with preparation and implementation of Maine's Lifespan Waiver
- Participate in leadership and program meetings
- Participate in the agency's rotational on-call schedule
What We're Looking For
- Experience with MaineCare Section 21 and/or Section 29 services
- At least 1 year of experience using Therap
- Experience with quality assurance, compliance, auditing, residential services, or Shared Living
- Knowledge of OADS, HCBS, and Maine licensing requirements
- Experience developing or implementing policies and procedures
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify concerns and develop practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with managers and leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of Maine's Lifespan Waiver initiative preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Regular travel to NRS residential programs
- Rotational on-call responsibilities
