REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production.  Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Responsibilities

The Loudon TN site has an exciting opening for a leadership position on its plant staff.  This position will be responsible for leading, developing, and sustaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS) across the operations at the Loudon facility. The role ensures ISO 9001 compliance, leads corrective actions, and partners with plant leadership to improve key operational metrics.  We are looking for a dynamic leader that can have a positive impact on our local culture of teamwork whil utilzing their technical skills to ensure functional excellence in Quality.  Core Accountabilities include but are not limited to:  Quality Management System Leadership, Customer Issue Management & Tehcnical Support, Continous Improvement, and Safety.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Science, or related fields.
  • Experience managing ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality, Continuous Improvement, or Manufacturing Operations.
  • Experience leading or managing an ISO 9001 (or IATF 16949) Quality Management System.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Minitab preferred.
  • Prior experience in metals, automotive, aluminum recycling, or heavy manufacturing is a plus.
