The Quality Manager is responsible for leading site-level quality systems, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, and proactively identifying and mitigating quality risks. This role drives corrective and preventive actions while supervising quality staff and supporting operational excellence.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage daily quality operations including inspections, documentation, and nonconformance processes.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues and oversee root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain and improve site quality systems and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Monitor key quality performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and training to quality technicians and inspectors.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering to resolve product or process issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and customer requirements.
  • Assist with supplier quality reviews.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Support training initiatives related to quality processes.

Schedule:

The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour shifts, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on workload demands.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • 5–8 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with quality management systems and auditing.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and quality tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Working Conditions

  • Onsite position with office environment and exposure to manufacturing areas.
  • Flexibility to adapt to peak workloads and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
