About the Role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Liaison is responsible for, but not limited to, interacting directly with our Customer representatives on a daily basis. This includes problem solving and defect analysis at the Customer site and ensuring efficient seat replacement procedures are set up and followed.
This is a straight afternoon shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) located at our Customer site in Ingersoll, ON.
Hourly Rate: $20.62 plus shift premium ($1.00 per hour).
This is a three-month contract position with the potential to lead to full time employment.
Your Responsibilities

  • Interact directly with Customer representatives.
  • Notify Qualtech of any issues that arise at the Customer.
  • Assist Customer and/or Qualtech Seating Systems in root cause analysis and containment issues.
  • Maintain daily log of activities and report back to Qualtech.
  • Review and ensure replacement of all material returned from Customer.
  • Conduct and document audits.
  • Initiate and actively participate in problem solving.
  • Follow all Safety Rules, Plant Standards & Qualtech Seating Systems' policies and procedures.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.


Your preferred qualifications

  • Minimum completion of Grade 12, post-secondary education preferred.
  • 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Quality role preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft computer programs.
