About the Role:

The Quality Laboratory Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that all laboratory processes and products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems within the laboratory environment to guarantee accuracy, reliability, and compliance. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancements. By analyzing data and laboratory results, the engineer will help to troubleshoot issues and develop corrective actions that prevent recurrence. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
  • 1 years of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role within a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory standards such as ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or vehicle glass regulations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools used for quality control and process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
  • Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic quality management systems (eQMS).
  • Certification such as Certified ISO9001,ISO17025.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Demonstrated experience leading quality improvement projects in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and protocols for laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspection of laboratory processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Conduct regular testing to ensure products compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Analyze laboratory data to identify trends, deviations, and potential quality issues, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, process validation, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support quality assurance activities and regulatory submissions.
  • Train production personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformances, customer complaints, and laboratory discrepancies in a timely manner.

The Quality Laboratory Engineer utilizes analytical skills daily to interpret complex laboratory data and identify quality trends or deviations that require attention. Communication skills are critical for preparing clear documentation, reports, and training materials, as well as for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement quality initiatives.
