About the Role
This position is for Massiv Die-Form, a division of Cosma International.
Cosma International, an operating unit of Magna International, is one of the world's premier global automotive suppliers providing a comprehensive range of body, chassis, and engineering solutions to our customers. Massiv Die-Form, a division of Magna International, designs and builds medium to large cast automotive and hot stamping dies. Massiv Die-Form is proudly committed to manufacture products of the highest quality, reliability, maintainability and durability for the global automotive market through skilled and dedicated people focused on total customer satisfaction, ongoing protection of the environment and the profitable well-being of our company.
Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for submitting measurement requests
  • Create/Audit Measurement Templates and Measurement Plans are accurate and represent customer
  • requirements
  • Work with QA team to ensure white light scans capture all necessary information, including custom setups
  • Analyze White Light Scans to detect issues, areas of improvement and needs for custom setups and or
  • realignments to develop scope of Work
  • Create Scope of Work for die improvements
  • Lead Quality Analysis Review (QAR) with Tooling and Program Management team, proposing next steps
  • Sign-off on 3D Laser First Off's as needed for Production Runs (PR's) and Internal Study panels as
  • required to optimize part quality and laser cutting time
  • Audits the completion level of Die Basic's


Who we are looking for
Your preferred qualifications

  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret dimensional reports and scan data.
  • A good working knowledge of Massiv Die Form job folders.
  • Recognized certificate of qualification as Tool & Die Maker is an asset.
  • Ability to read GD&T and Customer Standards documentation
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience required in manufacturing and trouble-shooting of Conventional
  • or Hot Stamp automotive tooling & dies.
  • Solid math skills, good communication skills both verbal and written, good organization skills
  • and ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Ability to understand, interpret white light results and alignments
  • Ability to achieve First Off at 3D Laser Process
  • Ability to understand and comprehend statistics (Cp, Pp, Cpk, Ppk)
