Key Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Run manual and basic automated tests to find software defects and verify fixes. Experience with AI application testing, including running evals, analyzing traces, and monitoring
- Test Planning: Review product requirements and write clear, concise test cases and test plans.
- Bug Tracking: Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like Jira/ADO
- Collaboration: Work with software developers to troubleshoot issues and understand system features.
- Quality Reporting: Share daily or weekly testing progress and quality updates with the team.
- Process Improvement: Suggest ways to make the testing process faster and more accurate.
- Performance testing for both cloud and on-prem deployments
- Infrastructure and application deployment testing for Docker and Kubernetes
- Technical Skills:
- Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and bug life cycle.
- Experience with manual testing concepts (functional, regression, and UI/UX testing).
- Basic knowledge of automation tools or scripting (e.g., Playright, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and MCP inspector is a plus.
