Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. Throughout the day, the lead monitors testing progress, manages defect resolution, and ensures that quality processes are effectively applied to meet project goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement of testing methodologies are key aspects of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to foster professional growth and ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with business goals and project timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics to support decision-making and process optimization.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and testing methodologies applicable to software development.
- Experience in developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies across complex application lifecycles.
- Ability to define and track key performance indicators related to test execution and defect management.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques for test automation and defect tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
