Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will oversee a dedicated team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality applications. You will leverage your expertise to develop comprehensive testing strategies, applying quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall application lifecycle. By focusing on end-to-end testing, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing key metrics that will help manage and assess the testing process, including test execution and defect resolution. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills. - Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA. - Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices. - Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. - Ability to analyze and interpret complex requirements to develop effective test cases. - Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
