Objective of the position
As a Quality Specialist, you will coordinate quality-related products and process improvements, both internally and externally, to drive performance and customer satisfaction. You will plan and perform product audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
The role includes maintaining timely communication with customers, handling quality concerns, and conducting claim analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. You will also support new product launches by providing quality expertise and ensuring requirements are met.
In case of quality issues, you will stop production when necessary and initiate immediate quarantine actions to contain risks. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to quality are essential for success in this role.
Characterization of activities
- Coordinate internal and external quality improvements for products and processes.
- Plan, perform, and follow up on product audits to ensure compliance.
- Manage customer quality issues, including claim analysis, reporting, and communication.
- Support new product launches with quality expertise and participate in project development.
- Drive continuous improvement activities and provide feedback to internal teams on quality issues.
- Escalate major nonconformities and take immediate action (including stopping production and quarantine) when quality concerns arise.
Education, Experience and Knowledge
- BSc degree in Engineering or similar field.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferably in electronics, embedded products, or mechatronics).
- Fluent in English and local language.
- Knowledge of automotive quality tools and problem-solving methods (e.g., PPAP, SPC, FMEA, control plans) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and Kaizen methodology is beneficial.
- Strong soft skills: professional communication, proactive mindset, flexibility, teamwork, stress resilience, and problem-solving ability.
