About the Role
The Quality Engineer is responsible for the successful implementation/execution and continuous improvement of the cross-functional problem management process, the management of warranty claims, and the coordination of hold management.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensuring that deviations from production specifications are consistently detected, documented, analyzed, controlled, processed, and reported by implementing a stable issue management process.
- Ensuring that field and customer feedback is consistently collected, documented, analyzed, controlled, and processed and reported within the issue management process.
- Ensuring that defective products/parts are consistently marked, controlled, and reported within the guidelines of hold management.
- Cross-functional coordination between production/planning/supplier management/logistics.
- Contact person for audits on the main tasks of issue management.
- Independent conduct of reporting and analysis (Power-BI, Excel, Power-Point) to efficiently communicate issues.
- Conduct lessons learned for continuous improvement of issue management.
Who we are looking for
- High education in mechanical engineering and/or quality management (university degree preferred)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and systems
- Fluent in English
Your preferred qualifications
- Problem solving techniques (e.g. Six Sigma)
- Knowledge in integrated management systems
- Quality management methods (8D, Ishikawa, Poka-Yoke, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
