About the Role
The Quality Engineer is responsible for the successful implementation/execution and continuous improvement of the cross-functional problem management process, the management of warranty claims, and the coordination of hold management.
Your Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that deviations from production specifications are consistently detected, documented, analyzed, controlled, processed, and reported by implementing a stable issue management process.
  • Ensuring that field and customer feedback is consistently collected, documented, analyzed, controlled, and processed and reported within the issue management process.
  • Ensuring that defective products/parts are consistently marked, controlled, and reported within the guidelines of hold management.
  • Cross-functional coordination between production/planning/supplier management/logistics.
  • Contact person for audits on the main tasks of issue management.
  • Independent conduct of reporting and analysis (Power-BI, Excel, Power-Point) to efficiently communicate issues.
  • Conduct lessons learned for continuous improvement of issue management.


Who we are looking for

  • High education in mechanical engineering and/or quality management (university degree preferred)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and systems
  • Fluent in English


Your preferred qualifications

  • Problem solving techniques (e.g. Six Sigma)
  • Knowledge in integrated management systems
  • Quality management methods (8D, Ishikawa, Poka-Yoke, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
