Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Quality Manager and working alongside supervisors, technicians, and other support groups (also with WCM Team),
  • Management System and IATF16949 requirement,
  • Ensure effective problem analysis/complaint investigation as required and define through negotiation effective corrective actions, review analysis of field inquiry reports,
  • To maintain document control for Magna Quality Management System,
  • The compilation of performance measures for the quality system steam and the production of monthly reports as required,
  • Developing quality related control methodologies and systems such as Cost of Quality Control company-wide,
  • Supporting risk assessment activities: Utilize DFMEA/PFMEA and other QA risk analysis techniques to minimize potential risk during development /implementation activity,
  • Produce and maintain appropriate and comprehensive quality process specifications as required during the development and implementation of new products,
  • Working with relevant business stakeholders, develop & maintain system to identify, correct & prevent defects to demonstrate product is ready to market & manufacture on an ongoing basis,
  • Responsible to lead and/or follow the Customer issues and follow up the actions closed or not with Customer Contacts,
  • Define QA system & assist in resolving all quality issues, allowing transfer of manufacturing processes to Operations,
  • To follow the All-Quality Team Actions (if it's necessary, to work with directly the action's related Department Managers).


Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering at reputable university,
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience in quality engineering field, preferably in automotive industry,
  • Knowledge and ability to understand and apply process audit principles, experience in quality control program operations, to include standards & measurement techniques, problem solving techniques as 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa etc.,
  • Ability to apply quality control theories and principles to an operational environment,
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and reporting skill in English,
  • Six Sigma or Lean skills and tools exposure advantageous,
  • Computer literate; able to utilize MS Office Suite, MS Project,
  • Knowledge of 5S, IATF 16949, Layered Audit, Q1, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC,
  • Strong organizational, practical mathematical (statistical) skills, analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
