Quality Engineer

Location： I-PARK , SENAI, JOHOR

Responsibility:

1. To set a standard detailed guidelines for the collection, analysis, improvement and tracking of quality process issue, and to ensure that the objectives of product quality can be achieved in manufacturing process, along with the continuous improvement is made to the quality objectives.

2. To lead the new product development process, by preparing the Quality Assurance plan and corresponding documents for new product development, track the new product development and ensuring the achievement of new product development goals.

3. To assist the SQE in dealing with quality problems that occurs at the supplier end, provide support for the corresponding factory supplier incoming data and dispose of raw materials, work in progress and defective finished products, handling and request the supplier 8D reports to verify the reliability of measures until the issue is resolved.

4. Assist CQE in responding to the customer audits and handling the customer quality complaints with preparing the quality correspondence materials.

5. Be able to perform the inspection process and procedures, preparing the instruction for inspection process, guiding the inspector to perform the inspections and be able to handle any issue founds in a timely manner.

Requirement:

1. Min. 2-5 years’ experience in quality system and process management including company security, environment, safety and health. (preferred in auto-parts industries).

2. Fluent and understood in Malay, English, and Mandarin.

3. Relevant certificates / Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering/science/ quality management or any relevant background.

4. Proficient and familiar with IATF16949 and product audit (VDA6.5).

5. Proficient in using quality problem analysis tools such as QFD/8D/5Why and proficient in using the five major manuals with large experience in process analysis and control.

6. Familiar with SMT machine and production assembly process, skilled in POKA-YOKE Technology.
