About the Program
Intelligent Operations is a multi-year banking modernization program delivering a complex systems integration solution. AI is embedded in the program Way of Working — currently accelerating functional specification, design, and test case generation across ServiceNow, RPA, and API workstreams, etc...
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced UAT Lead to join a large-scale banking transformation program. In this role, you will own the end-to-end coordination and execution of User Acceptance Testing across multiple workstreams, acting as the primary bridge between business users and the delivery team. You will ensure that UAT activities are structured, evidenced, and completed to a high standard — enabling confident, on-time go-live decisions.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong stakeholder management, a solid understanding of banking operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UAT planning, scheduling, and execution across program workstreams
- Facilitate UAT sessions with business users — translating functional requirements into structured, traceable test scenarios
- Act as the single point of contact for business stakeholders throughout UAT phases
- Coordinate with the Test Manager to align UAT with the overall test strategy, entry criteria, and exit criteria
- Work with initiative and functional leads to confirm scope, business readiness, and sign-off conditions
- Manage defect triage during UAT — prioritizing, tracking, and driving resolution in close collaboration with delivery teams
- Produce UAT status reporting, defect dashboards, and formal sign-off documentation for governance
- Identify and escalate risks and blockers to UAT progress in a timely manner
- Support post-UAT retrospectives and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading UAT on banking or financial services transformation program
- Strong understanding of retail banking or operations domain — e.g. client onboarding, Know your Customer “KYC”, account management, or estates
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence business stakeholders at various levels
- Experience coordinating structured test cycles with formal entry/exit criteria and sign-off governance
- Proficiency in test management tools — JIRA, X-Ray, or equivalent
- Manager-level experience — comfortable operating independently and leading a small team or workstream
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with managed services or operations platforms (e.g. SynOps or similar)
- Experience on Accenture or SI-led transformation engagements
- ISTQB or equivalent testing qualification
- Experience working in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment
What We Offer
- A high-profile role at the heart of a complex, multi-workstream banking transformation
- Exposure to AI-led delivery practices and modern testing approaches
- A collaborative, international team environment across onshore and offshore delivery
- Opportunity to make a tangible impact on business outcomes and go-live success
