The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Quality Engineer (m/f/x)*, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Performing the function of an internal and external auditor

  • Identification of areas for improvement, implementation of corrective and preventive actions and verification of their effectiveness

  • Conducting complaint processes

  • Development, implementation and updating of quality documentation

  • Continuous improvement of the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO13485 requirements,

  • Participation in new product and process implementation projects

  • Validation of test methods

  • Cooperation with other departments to continuously develop and improve the functioning of the factory

  • Cooperation in the international arena,

  • Ensuring the highest quality of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products

  • Conducting training for employees in the scope of quality assurance requirements and methods of meeting them

  • Representing the area during external audits

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Higher education, preferably technical

  • Min. 3 years of experience in an independent position in the quality assurance department

  • Advanced knowledge of English, both spoken and written

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Practical knowledge of ISO requirements 9001 as well as quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA)

  • Knowledge of ISO13485, GMP requirements will be an additional asset

  • Ability to think analytically, solve problems and make decisions

  • Experience in using the SAP system is welcome

  • Experience in validation of the manufacturing process,

  • Experience in project implementation, participation in global projects

  • Very good computer skills (MS Office, MiniTab)

  • Very good communication skills

Work location: Onsite (4 day per week) Wrocław, Medical Surgical Division

Replacement position: 2-year contract with possible extension

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
