As a Quality Engineering II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will help shape our unwavering commitment to quality excellence. Supporting a team of dedicated quality engineers, you will ensure that high-quality products are consistently delivered to our customers. 

You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an Onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality assurance processes by implementing robust quality control measures, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and measure quality standards and metrics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with a team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, plans, and processes that form the backbone of our quality initiatives.
  • Conduct product and process audits to identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective and preventive actions to enhance quality.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • Experience with quality auditing and compliance to industry standards
