What You Will Contribute:
At Badger Meter, we’re building smart water solutions that help communities manage one of the world’s most important resources. As an Engineer I, you’ll launch your engineering career in a hands-on, team-oriented environment where you’ll learn how products are designed, tested, and manufactured at scale.
This role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to learn, solve problems, and grow their technical skills while working alongside experienced engineers.
What You’ll DoSupport product quality and manufacturing operations
- Assist with troubleshooting product and process issues on the manufacturing floor
- Help investigate customer and production challenges and support resolution efforts
Learn and execute testing
- Support product validation and design verification testing
- Assist in developing test plans and documenting results
Apply engineering fundamentals
- Analyze designs, tolerances, and test results with guidance from senior engineers
- Participate in problem-solving activities using structured approaches
Contribute to continuous improvement
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or production issues
Support engineering and quality processes
- Assist with engineering change requests and documentation updates
- Help develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation
