As the Quality Control Supervisor, you will provide leadership and guidance on a daily basis to the QC technicians through overseeing the QC testing, supporting the product cost reduction (PCR) initiative, and leading problem-solving activities. You will work closely with Operations and the COEX Technical organizations to support the plant objectives related to quality products, batch completion and cycle time.

Additional Responsibilities:
- You will supervise the QC Technicians in the testing of coatings products, ensuring that all aspects of testing and customer requirements are met.
- Lead problem solving activities for defective batches identified in the field and for batches that are processing abnormally with the goal of reducing customer complaints and sub-standard product loss.
- Conduct reviews of new product formulations to ensure that they are production ready.
- Use the Quality Tool software to document batch adjustments, approvals and recertifications.
- You will ensure that products are acceptable for end-use by updating inventory status, material hold, etc. using the Oracle system.
- Manage the equipment calibrations and related documentation for the lab equipment throughout the plant.
- Help develop a flexible, inclusive, well-trained, and motivated workforce that operates as a team to safely test products that meet customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- BS in Chemistry or Engineering with 3 to 5 years of professional work experience, OR a high school diploma with 10 years of equivalent experience in QC, Operations, Technical, or Analytical roles
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience
- Mathematical, analytical, computer & problem-solving skills.
- Oracle knowledge preferred
