PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Quality Control (QC) Specialist is responsible for providing support across the functional area of Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. The position focuses on ensuring Quality Control activities are carried out as planned and complies with corporate, state, federal and local regulations, and contract requirements.
The position also maintains adherence to quality requirements established under ISO 9001 standards and provide support to functional areas in the development of process improvement.

Monitor and control employee and subcontractor testing and inspection activities to ensure compliance with established QC procedures verify timely submission of reports and review for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, addressing any discrepancies.

Provide expert guidance and support to managers and supervisors in the interpretation, implementation, and compliance with quality-control requirements. Act as a key resource to ensure adherence to quality standards, fostering a proactive approach to quality management.

Plan and perform audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality procedures, testing schedules, and documentation requirements.

Oversee the management and organization of all technical documents, including policies, plans, procedures, and work instructions ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with the quality program strategic goals.

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of QC processes, procedures and monitoring tools across the program.

Lead the development, coordination, and execution of comprehensive training programs for site teams and sub-contractors focused on advanced quality control practices, regulatory compliance standards, accountability and procedural excellence.

Develop, manage, and ensure the integrity of the quality program's record-keeping and reporting systems.

Maintain knowledge of best practices for quality control procedures and reporting adapting practices as necessary to meet company needs.

- Minimum 2+ years’ of proven experience in strategic stakeholder engagement including leading cross-functional collaboration, coordinating complex reporting processes, and managing relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in progressively responsible management positions with demonstrated success in managing teams, driving operational improvements, and influencing decision-making at a departmental or organizational level.
- Familiarity with and ability to stay current in general industry standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skill, with a proven ability to brief senior leadership, facilitate high-level discussions, and influence decision-making across multiple business units
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a fast-paced team
- Ability to adapt to change and contribute to continuous improvement
- A collaborative, solutions-driven approach to achieving business goals, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and fostering positive working relationships.

- The ability to lift items up to 10kgs independently.
- Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness.
- Must possess advanced planning/organizing skills and must be able to work to deadlines.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly.
STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS
All personnel assigned shall be:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to fluently read, write and speak English
EHS REQUIREMENT
All Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements. - Red-Carding a Job - Employee right and responsibility to “STOP WORK” if a job is unsafe or possess a danger to the environment
